CONCEPT

The brand name SLOW indicates the company's stance on creating things slowly, without getting caught up in the rapidly changing times.
Based on the spirit of ``creating things that we want to own,'' Japanese craftsmen use their proud techniques to create items that become more flavorful the more they are used, and items that can be used for a long time.
With our unique interpretation of the traditional styles of Europe and America (Britain, France, America), we always keep in mind the phrase, ``New proposals and valuable traditions are born from high-quality innovation,'' and propose casual yet classy items. To go.

slow leather

Enjoy the slow, long-lasting changes in facial expressions that occur over time.
This is due to the ingenuity and hard work of our skilled craftsmen.
Differences in color and texture due to individual differences, differences in the process of turning hides into leather, the skills of each craftsman, the environment at the time, etc.
Small differences add up to create the look of each product.

Until the product is completed

01 – Leather selection and cutting
Before we start making leather products, we first carefully select the high quality leather we will use for our products from among many types of cowhide. Here, we sort the grain and individual differences carved into the cowhide, and then cut it using molds to form each part of the product according to its shape.

02 – Leather skiving
After cutting the leather that will become the parts, the leather is sanded to the appropriate thickness, which varies depending on the part. By ``filtering the leather,'' the product becomes lighter and easier to process, resulting in a very beautiful sewing finish.

03 – Sewing
Once the parts are assembled, it's time to start sewing. The difficulty of sewing increases as the product composition and number of parts increases. The sewing process, which requires the most skill, is carried out by highly skilled craftsmen in the factory, who create the products with great care.

04 – Edge polishing
The cross section (cut) where the leather is cut is called the edge surface.
Depending on the specifications of bags and accessories, this is often called ``cut-cutting,'' in which these edges are not hidden, but are used to make the most of them in the design. However, if you leave the edges as they are, the fibers will become frayed, cracked, or turn black, ruining the beauty of your bags and accessories. Therefore, it is necessary to process the edges to make them look beautiful while protecting them. A typical example is ``Koba-nuri''.

05 – And to the product
Most of the work process is done by hand, taking much time and effort. As long as it takes time,
The result is a beautiful and natural finish, and the finished product is greatly improved.
