After the Russo-Japanese War, the company produced leather shoes and belts for military use, and is a tannery with a reputation for quality.

Using tannins extracted from mimosa grown in North America, this leather is carefully tanned in a pit layer over a long period of time, making it firm, lightweight, and durable.
